Africa

Africa Windmill Project is currently focusing in Malawi, which has the world's eighth highest HIV infection rate and experiences continuous famine which, is the greatest epic-size problem the country is facing.  The two problems seem to be feeding off of each other in a downward spiral as AIDS-related deaths are creating orphans who cannot grow food for themselves and leaving the family and village farms shorthanded and under producing.  There have been frequent droughts creating starvation, which speeds up AIDS-related deaths. Malawi is ranked tenth in the world for the shortest life expectancy at a 42.9 year average.  The only solution is to simultaneously slow the HIV infection rate and improve farming production both of which would extend and improve quality of life in Malawi.
